Hi, I'm Sebastian.

I didn't come from money, and nobody handed me a playbook. I got my start through a high school business program, then reselling online, which grew into a shoe resale business before I started college. That's where I learned the lessons that stick: cash matters more than profit on paper, every decision is a bet, and the way you say something can matter as much as what you say.

Since then I've earned a BBA in Business Administration, become a certified bookkeeper, and started the Professional Accounting MBA program. I've competed in business and presentation competitions, been part of think tanks and entrepreneurship programs, and today I help run the daily operations of a few companies as a consultant.

Along the way I've kept a circle of mentors close. Some of them taught me directly. Some don't even know they're mentors, because I learned from watching their mistakes. Plainspoken.Mind is how I pass that on.

What I believe

• Think it through. Big decisions deserve a system, not a gut feeling at midnight. Investigate before you decide.
• Say it plainly. Clear beats clever. Most problems at work get easier when people say what they mean.
• Build it your way. Success should look like yours, not somebody else's version of it.
